Angela Carson-Post is an energetic, devoted and passionate person who truly loves what she does. She is driven by the constant quest to capture the true character and personality of every one of her clients. Constantly searching for new ideas that will enhance her portraiture, she believes that “true creativity is found outside your comfort zone”.

In 1997, Angela fulfilled a life-long dream and moved her studio into its present location. We are located in historical downtown Northville in a 100-year old Victorian home that Angela totally renovated and restored.

In recent years, Angela has become a sought after lecturer and author on the subject of fine portraiture. She has presented programs to photographic organizations throughout the country. Her award-winning portraits have been accepted for inclusion in the Professional Photographer of America International print exhibition and the prestigious traveling loan collection.

Steve has been professionally photographing people since 1984. He enjoys working with people of all ages. Steve has the gift of being able to find the unique qualities within each person that makes them who they are. His easy-going personality is what makes him a natural at capturing the true spirit of everyone he photographs.

Steve spent some time away from photography, working in design and development of the computer software. (Steve wrote the software we use here at the studio). It wasn’t long however, before his love of photography and the joy of portraiture called him back and became his primary focus.

Steve operated his own studio in Royal Oak, Michigan for a number of years, photographing children, families, and high school seniors. In the fall of 2001, Steve closed his studio location, and moved his work to Northville joining Angela and her staff. In May of 2002, Angela and Steve were married in a beautiful fairy tale wedding in Walt Disney World.
